Saturation Trust

I can’t even remember when and where the vision was born, but when we found out that some of the teachers at South Borough School in Tovil rather spent the lunch breaks in their cars than in their staff room we knew we wanted to do something about it.

Saturation Trust organised and executed litter picking in an underprivileged area within Maidstone. The area had become a ‘dumping ground’ and all sorts of small and large rubbish littered the pavements making it both unsightly and unsafe. The area was combed by volunteers and the rubbish removed, elevating the appearance of the area and thereby making it a ‘happy place’ for local businesses and residents.

Saturation Trust assisted the Kenward Trust, a registered charity which operates recovery programmes for people suffering from drug and alcohol misuse and homelessness, by doing maintenance work on one of their residential properties in Hawkhurst. The property’s garden had become very overgrown whilst the property was closed for refurbishment. The Trust did not have the funds necessary to bring the garden back into a maintainable state, and so Saturation Trust took the project on, thereby assisting in getting the property reopened as a women’s residential rehab centre.
